Gibbs comes in and assists, and Abby makes a comment about how he is a good Doctor's nurse and would make a good Doctor too. Gibbs smiles. Mark Harmon has played doctors on both St. Elsewhere (1982) and Chicago Hope (1994).
The song the Navy Captain is listening to in the car, "Bye, Bye, Love" is a clue to the motive behind his murder.
