Carolee suggests that Dan contact his niece Toni, daughter of Tammy's sister Barbara. Dan disregards Carolee's decorating ideas for the living room, insisting that his home is perfect just the way it is. Cathy drops by Steve's apartment with goodies but leaves with the suggestion that he call her when his "appetite" returns. Matt returns from the basement with Althea's rag doll, which Greta has destroyed. After Greta admits that she hates anything to do with Althea, Matt makes airline reservations to fly to New York to see Dr. John Morrison.
