The program opens with an apparent thief entering the living room of a married couple. But he's not there to rob them - he wants to watch the Red Skelton Show on their TV. The first Skelton Scrapbook, titled "National Pickle Week", features Pitchman Pete, who hawks products on TV for the J. C. Swindle Company, selling pickles. The Bell Sisters appear in the musical interlude in a malt shop setting singing "Do It Again." The second Skelton Scrapbook, called "Washing the Elephant", features Willie Lump Lump working at a circus cleaning an elephant with Tide detergent (the sponsor). The final Skelton Scrapbook sketch, named "EZ Loans", displays Clem Kadiddlehopper visiting the "You Should Live So Long" Loan Company to procure a $100 loan from J. Filthy Lucre, but discovering that the loan carries $8,000 interest.
