There are several things at work here. First of all, Harry hears the result of his trial. Secondly, there is further research into the boy who disappeared. Third, we are introduced to more politics in the department. Is there anyone trustworthy at the top. But the real focus is on a "field trip" where Waits is going to show the cops the scenes of his murders. Harry is put in charge so he can be blamed for anything that goes wrong. They take Waits to the scene he has suggested and all hell breaks loose due to mistakes made by the big boys. It will be interesting to see if Harry gets thrown under the bus. This is a really good series with the lead a complex and sympathetic victim of things he cannot control.
