Harry is back on the job. A few puzzle pieces are thrown out for us. We see a man in an expensive car stop to help a woman. As he speaks to her, a man comes up from behind and shoots him in the head. Bosch returns to the precinct. His adversarial Captain is gone and a dorky guy has taken over. After a chat with his daughter, he is called to investigate a body in a trunk. The dead man is a producer of hard core pornography, worth a lot of money. The interesting thing is he has all kinds of expensive things on him, including a lot of money and a Rolex. Why was he killed? There are some rotten things going on with some bad cops. For now I don't see much spark. Also, that whole mayoral thing is still going on with O'Shea who intervened in the last case and got the assistant district attorney killed. I'll give it a chance.
