The story of this number deals with the attempt of a father and mother to interest their son in a girl who is to him uninteresting. The result is that when he sees a pretty girl in a booth at the San Bernardino fair he falls madly in love with her, and finally when by accident she gets work in his father's packing establishment he braves his parents' objections and becomes engaged to her.
