Preity Zinta worked as an assistant director on the sets of this movie.
Ajay Devgan felt the film's promotion and packaging was wrong. The poster's had him wearing a leather jacket holding a knife. The audience expected a out and out action movie. But the film was a emotional drama for the most part .
Roshan's adaptation of 'Malaguena' into "Jhoom Jhoom Ke Jaam Choom Ke" from Coffee House as well as Kishore Kumar's adaptation of'Tequila' by The Champs into "Babaloo Babaloo Baba"(Jhumroo). The song has been recently adapted again in some Ajay Devgan movie Haqeeqat "Paapiyan Jhapiyan". The song Chodke Tujhko from Mahasangram also partly sampled Tequila by The Champs.
