Straying from the Sioux village, Yakari meets an embittered warrior who spends his life hunting down the wolf who maimed him in an epic duel, and all his kind. Next the knave stumbles upon that very, three-legged wolf, meets him family and learns they only attack humans when hey feel threatened, so he attempts to reconcile both parties.
