The comedy segment is answers from local children in 2nd through 5th grades to questions about Thanksgiving. Barney Odum has a dog named Flathead that climbs trees. He first talks about his life, his six dogs, etc. Then Flathead comes out and climbs an artificial tree set up on stage. The dog repeats the accomplishment. George Carlin does a stand-up comedy segment, and then more jokes during his interview segment. Ian McKellen does not appear due to lack of time.
