The world, the environment and all creatures within it are constantly changing. Evolution is the development of life. However not all change is natural, or for the best. Transformations is a series of two short music based films exploring the dreamworld of unpredictable transforming states. An nutshell journey of sounds, images and stories. Combining melodic electronica, film and animation. Touching on themes such as nature, beauty, autonomy, movement and architecture, the music and films experimentally juxtapose these together. We start with Overtaken, an animation that jumps between scenes of peaceful hand-drawn images and urban architectural cityscapes. In a collage of musical and visual styles nature is overtaken with electronics and uses the music to overcome the momentum of the city. The title piece Transformation is a darker cinematic affair.
