Episode 30 begins with the ailing Chester's doctor(Ron Rifkin)calling Billy to his father's bedside("this way Arnold!"),referring to the dead rat that Benson killed(and for which the cops frisk the butler).Eunice confesses her love for the escaped killer Dutch,and Jessica cannot disapprove,because she's married to a murderer! Finally,Dr.Kanter reveals Chester's condition to Jessica(the reason why he was capable of murder),and she allows him to perform a difficult brain operation(which would surely launch the doctor to stardom).Mary is confused by Danny's plans for Elaine,not to let her dress,eat,or sleep,since nothing's good enough for her.He begins to implement the procedure by destroying several dresses and shoes,and pulling her chair out from under her,because "other people have sat in it!" Mary is pleased when Elaine's evening dress is ripped off as she's going out the door("it didn't look as good from the back!")
