The story. well known. the dialogues. familiar from darl utopias. the performances. almost blank. and the end. as beginning of adventure. a film of crumbs. from novels, films, theate plays. and, maybe, this represents the basic motif to see it. a young man. looking for truth. and the steps to it.

I spoil nothing (the entire plot is in the summary) when I state this has been done in both Logan's Run and THX-1138... and quite a bit better.

While this short presents a couple of decently-acted roles by unknowns, that is the high-point of this very-predictable-plot. With nearly a half hour to develop their story, the fact that there was pretty much no story development and a lack-luster ending makes this film less interesting than a good TV commercial.

Lesson to producers / directors: start with a great script and you might wind up with a great film. Fail to do so and you wind up with this.
