Lawrence Austin was running the popular Silent Theatre in Hollywood when one night a robber came in and killed him. At first it appeared to be a robbery but nothing was stolen so this sent the police into a different direction. I had never heard of this case until watching the episode and while it's not the normal "case" for the series it still managed to be quite entertaining as the murder plot begins to reveal itself. The interviews with the reporters give you a very good idea of what was going on during the murder investigation and it was great having the lead detective here to talk about the police work that went into solving the crime.
