Am Fuß der Blauen Berge The Killer Legend (1959–1963) Online

Jess Harper is acting deputy in Laramie while Mort Cory is in Denver when he catches Tom Wade searching files in the sheriff's office. Wade is an ex-con, sent to prison for a crime he claims he didn't commit and he appears to be down and out on his luck. Jess and Tom know of each other by reputation but they have never met. Jess loans Tom some money which he uses to win big against the Bartell brothers who are known trouble makers. Julie Wade, Tom's wife, arrives in Laramie looking for Mort Cory, since they've been working trying to clear her husband. She tells Jess that Wade is out to kill Mort Cory, the man he believes framed him and sent him to prison. Meanwhile Milt Lane, Wade's former employer and the man who really framed him for robbery, has come to town to help his 'friend' Tom. Lane really wants Wade dead and he doesn't care who gets in the way, including Jess and Mort Cory.

Pat Conway former star of Tombstone Territory plays an escaped convict in this Laramie story. Of all places acting deputy Robert Fuller catches Conway breaking into the Laramie jail.

But Conway has his reasons. He's after Sheriff Mort Cory who is away on business in Cheyenne. He thinks the sheriff used tainted evidence to send him away. But Fuller does take a liking to him. Conway also has a wife in Joan Evans who believes in his cause.

Conway also has another acquaintance in town, former employer Dick Foran. And he runs afoul of two hard case brothers Kevin Hagen and Harry Lauter. He even beats Lauter at poker and wins his nice gunfighter outfit and rig. Lauter looks kind of ridiculous and ridiculous is not something an outlaw can afford to be.

To see how the plot elements jell watch this Laramie episode. All I will say is that Robert Fuller turns out to be the best friend Conway ever made.
