In Central Luzon, in the biggest plain and rice granary of the Philippines, many fear a silent creature. A bite spells peril. In a flash, life meets death. But this creature is not a hindrance for the farmer Mang Agapito, not his real name. Life in the rice field must go on: there's a season of harvest, there's a season for planting.
