This is the story of Shankur, a kind generous man who's path in life is to help those who are less fortunate and need food. His own mother died after giving blood to get food for them and Shankur made it his life plan to help those in the same situation he was in with his mother. Befriending an orphan girl, Shanker and Bijlee set up a place where children can go for food and shelter, until one day their happiness is shattered by the evil Jagavar Chaudhry. Will Shankur ever fulfill his dreams of ridding his town of child hunger?

Roti Ki Keemat Directed By Ramesh Ahuja is An Action Social Drama. Direction is Average To Poor. Script Looks Fine But Execution is Very Poor. Dialogues & Action Are Plus. Editing & Screenplay is Weak.

Inspector R.K Mathur(Pran) Lives With His Wife Sharda(Anjana Mumtaz) & Son Shankar(Master Bunty). He Captures Sangha(Raj Tilak) in A Murder Case, He is Sentenced To Life Imprison. Sangha Brother Jagawar(Sadashiv Amrapurkar) Abducts Sharda & Shankar . He Tries To Burn Them Alive But They Somehow Scrape Through. Sharda & Shankar Go Through Hell To Survive.

After 20 Years, Shankar(Mithun) is A Petty Thief. He Runs An Orphanage. Bijli(Kimi Katkar) Loves Shankar. Jagawat is Now J.K A Underworld Don. Shankar Becomes Threat For J.K When He Captures His Gold Biscuits. He is Now Framed For Murder Of D'Souza(Puneet Issar) By J.K. With Few Twists & Turns Happy Ending.

Mithun As Usual Strong With His Dialogues & Action. Pran Does Well . Sadashiv Amrapurkar is Praiseworthy. Kimi Katkar Has Few Scenes.

Music By Bappi Lahiri is Pathetic . No Good Songs.
