Crooked (2010) Online
Nothing's more important to Samantha than good dental hygiene. She'll do anything to get that perfect, celebrity smile, and if there's one credo she lives by, it's to brush and floss her teeth three times a day. And nothing bothers her more than her last, crooked baby tooth that refuses to fall out no matter what she tires. Lately, it's becoming more of a nuisance than ever, especially when he eyes fall on Tommy Gunn, the new boy at school. When Tommy quickly makes friends with Samantha's older brother Billy, she thinks she's a shoe-in. That is, until her best friend Jessica gets in the way. A big problem to be sure, but nothing clever Samantha can't fix!

The idea for "Crooked" was born when director Todd Thompson received an e-mail from a fan who, in his mid-forties, had found a way to turn his health around by forming a consistent flossing and brushing habit. After seeing one of Thompson's previous films (The Monster Under My Bed (2008)), he decided film was the best way to spread his message and teach the world about the importance of good dental hygiene.
Filmed over a period of three days in and around the town of Celebration, Florida.
A prosthetic, crooked, baby tooth had to be created and molded to fit actress Kendall Ganey's mouth. The tooth was crafted by her orthodontist, Dr. Steve Tinsworth, D.M.D. who also happened to be the first executive producer to sign-on and fund the project.
