This wasn't quite what I expected (straight up mystery-suspense) but good just the same. It was a bit slow moving, yet I felt a knot in my stomach because I couldn't predict what would happen. None of the main characters are particularly nice or kind people (mostly appearing to have few ethics) yet I did feel concern about them. I believe this is in part because all the actors gave flawless performances and were very well cast in their perspective parts.

I agree with other reviewers that the soundtrack and visual effects added much to the emotional tone (fear and confusion) of the film. Yes, it is a modern day "film noir" and a commentary on the television industry.

The story line was familiar yet had some unexpected twists especially at the end when the Minnow character explained his motives-or did not explain them. He said he saw an opportunity and took it--regardless of the effect his behavior had on others. He was amoral but at times shockingly honest and seemed to bear no one any resentment or ill will.

If you are a fan of any of the actors or of slightly unusual films you might want to check it out.

Note: *Very* slight spoiler!!

This was an excellent movie for Nicholas Lea to show off his talent as an actor, in a leading role that he could get his teeth into. Without giving away too many spoilers, I certainly saw Nick do several things I'd never seen him do in a movie before. I liked that for its novelty value, and Nick was *extremely* good at doing these thing, too. He was perfect at being Dustin Yarma, and so good at acting out the fear, anger (which spilled over onto his 'colleague', Minnow, more than once), panic and despair his situation in this movie caused him. Despite Yarma's callousness and arrogance, you nevertheless want him to win. Kari Wuhrer was good as the disenchanted girlfriend, shallow and ambitious for her career, and moving on from Yarma to Minnow once she realised Minnow could further her chances and Yarma couldn't. Holt McCallaney was superb as the charming, smooth Minnow, down on his luck, who saw an opportunity, seized it, and did better than Yarma, both in his job, and with Darcy (Kari Wuhrer) Jason Priestly, as Jarred, was Yarma's best friend, and the only person to stand by him and believe him, and Priestly played him with a serenity that made Jarred seem like an oasis of calm in an ocean of storm. Nick looked smooth in expensive suits. Nice to see him in them, and I liked his haircut, too. In this movie he was back to his lean look again. I give Nick Lea ten out of ten for Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye, because I can't fault his portrayal of a man with all too many faults. The snappy theme music, and the at times film-noirish, tilted-frame camera work, the very soft colour focus in the night club and bar scenes, all served to emphasise the drama, and the sometimes disoriented Yarma. The movie isn't all black. It has its lighter moments. There are a couple of funny occasions, like when Yarma says to Minnow about Yarma's boss, "You were sucking up to him so hard your lips are probably still stuck", and also when Minnow says in an offended manner to Yarma in his bedroom, after emptying Yarma's clothes pockets before sending the garments off to the dry cleaners, "You're terrible about leaving things in your pockets. Y'know, it ruins a suit."

this movie was a nice surprise, directed by Jason Priestley. It is basically a suspense film wherein a narcissistic producer, Dustin Yorma, wakes up on the beach after a night of partying and finds a girl who was ostensibly murdered. A beach bum (later named Minnow) well played by Holt McAllany, saw the entire incident and tells Dustin he will help him hide the body if he is compensated. Dustin panics and agrees.

Minnow ends up moving into Dustin's posh L.A. home, taking over his life, his career, even his girl Darcy. (as portrayed by Kari Wuhrer).

There is a great soundtrack and filming of Hollywood clubs and chaos, as Dustin tries to find his way out of being accused of murder, there is a nice twist at the end, and the suspense will keep you watching. Recommended. 8/10.

Jason Priestley does a good job directing this FOX TV movie with a nifty plot, good ending and hot looking actors, cars and plush beach houses. The hyperactive effect of neon signs as seen while speeding at night on the Sunset Strip is visually dazzling and rivals the best music videos.

This movie is a fine piece of work. Although it has an excellent plot, fine acting, direction etc. The one thing besides all the things above that I love about this movie is the sound track is so stimulating that it stays rolling around your mind for sometime. Just hearing the sound track makes me want to see it over and over. I think this sound track is so stimulating that it quite possibly increases your pulse rate when you listen to it. I was fortunate enough to record this movie when it was broadcast by our local FOX affiliate.

8 out of 10.

If you don't know Nicholas Lea. Then you should. Nicholas Lea takes the leading role in this film about a man black mailed. It's a story of sex, murder and lies.

The story line, it's self, was decent. It kept me interested and the writing wasn't too bad. But, not perfect but realistic enough.

The reason I'm giving this movie an 8 is for one reason; Nicholas Lea. He gives such an amazing performance in this movie. It really does make you sad though because he shows such incredible talent in this movie and yet he's not a big star...And you know that he certainly deserves to be.

I suggest this movie.

I purchased this film new for only 99 cents.

Why is was that cheap - I don't understand. This is a great movie with a great story. The cast was good and Minnow's character was the most interesting.

Since I've watched that movie, I've always looked out for the actor who played Minnow.

He was cast great. I'm happy to see that he went on to get bigger roles and feel that he should be a lead in much more well received movies.

He is by far a much better actor than Tom Cruise or Brad Pitt ever were or will be and deserves the same type of credit as them.

The movie itself had an interesting plot. It was a good idea dragged out too long. If it wasn't for the fact that I was glued to my seat watching the beautiful Kari Wuhrer, I may have shut it off. But Kari Wuhrer clearly is a great actor, and one of the hottest celebrities...let alone women I have ever laid my 16 year old eyes upon. If only I could let her know how much I appreciate her talent. Well anyway, it is clear that Jason Priestley is a great director by hiring Ms. Wuhrer and I can only hope there will be a little more "Wuhrer" talent in all of the movies I see in the near future.
