Devarajan murders his wealthy brother-in-law and widower Krishnadas, and with the help of his friends and co-conspirators Superintendent Koshi, Inspector Sharat and advocate Raj Mohan, manages to discredit and disinherit Krishnadas's illegitimate son Vijay Krishnan. With the help of a few trusted friends, Vijay starts his revenge on the four people who murdered his parents and destroyed his life, but he is also hunted by Crime Branch officer Swaminathan.
