First episode to feature the White Ranger in the opening credits.
Even though it is an integral plot point that Kimberly has borrowed her mother's purse for her date with Tommy, and this is the purse that her mother took on her first date with her father, and that it was crucial that the Power Rangers retrieve the purse intact at the climax because her mother would be devastated if it was lost... it is never mentioned that Kimberly's parents are divorced; which was explicitly shown in "Return Of An Old Friend" in the first season. Sure, her parents still get along with one another, but the context of this episode makes it seem like her parents are still together and in love with one another.
Finster is seen for the first time since Zedd took over in 'The Mutiny.'
This episode introduces a new intro. Scenes of Tommy as the White ranger are featured and the introduction of the actors now include their fighting scenes and their zords. This intro remains up until early season 3.
