During the scene where the character of the journalist Daniel is introduced, a colleague tells him he downloaded "Elephants in the Desert" in an attempt to befriend Daniel. Elephants in the Desert is not a song, nor is it an album or band. It is a reference to a secretly planned and unannounced gig performed by Radiohead in a small Swedish venue. Radiohead billed themselves as "Elephants in the Desert" for the show.

Julie Carlsen (Barbara) & Ellen Hillingsø (Charlotte) also worked on Pagten (2009) as Marianne &Fortæller respectively.
