The corpse of Sten Lundkvist, a Danish millionaire who came to order an exclusive yacht from Wismar family firm Yacht-Jäger, is found among a cargo of scrap iron for China. His polyglot hotel receptionist, Inga Bornholm, saw him the night before with a woman and noticed he never spoke a word of Danish. Warf owner Eric Jäger met Lundkvist on the fatal night and reports he was addressed under another name by an unidentified man. Sten Lundkvist turns out the pseudonym of an insurance detective looking into a series of yacht thefts and re-modelings for sale in Eastern Europe. Which Jäger played which part?
