The title is a line that starts the song "Broadway Melody Ballet" composed of "The Broadway Melody" from La canzone di Broadway (1929) and "Broadway Rhythm" from Follie di Broadway 1936 (1935) (music by Nacio Herb Brown and Lennie Hayton). This combination was used in Cantando sotto la pioggia (1952).

Enough laughs and heart were put into this to warrant this a thumbs up. Despite not being very strong, I could relate to the main story. The problem is they kinda copped out. But this is only a 30-minute show. I am sure there are movies like this that can explain it all in much richer detail.

Let's start off with the subplot: Becky tries to get Jesse to come to her baby shower by fooling him because she knows that's the only way it will happen. Or is it? After a few close calls, Jesse dangles a big ice cream sundae in front of Michelle to get her to talk. It works. He then gathers all his macho motorcycle pals to crash the party. That's all the hilarity.

The main plot has Stephanie wanting a career in dance. Danny explains all the sacrifices but she doesn't care. He also sees it as a means of living his own success story through his daughter. She soon gets on the verge of a major dance burnout.

Jodie Sweetin was about 10 at the time of this, already doing the show for 5 years. For a child, this is a lot. I wonder if some of what happens in the episode really happened to her. Then there's Danny living vicariously through his daughter. I hate when parents do that. And I can relate to it. This is where I wish the episode got deeper into. But I said earlier, it's a 30 minute show!

I really love this episode. I love seeing all of the early '90s dancing and it just makes me nostalgic for that time, even though I wasn't even born yet.

In this episode, Stephanie begs Danny to let her take a more intense dance program, as she is very talented and loves dancing. Danny allows her to, but only if she keeps up with her other responsibilities. And mainly because he wants Stephanie's dreams to come true, as his high jumping dreams didn't. Stephanie loves it at first, but then grows tired. And at the big recital, she messes up on purpose, so she won't be accepted to a Summer Dance Academy. Meanwhile, Becky tricks Jesse into coming to her baby shower and Michelle gives into telling Jesse a secret when he bribes her with ice cream.

Overall, I give this episode a 9 out of 10, which in my ratings book is: Amazing.
