In this Christmas theme episode, it seems that Carter and Stuart are not going anywhere over the holidays and they plan on spending the time together. They meet two older men that have move into their apartment building and learn that they happen to be gay. When they tell the story of how they meet, it is exactly like Carter and Stuart. One of the men said that they just lived together for so long that it just happened. Now Stuart believes that something like that could happen with his life.

In another absurd story, the New York City Zoo has been given a monkey that is suppose to be the smartest primate in the world. He is presented a City Hall and now the ape is running around the place causing problems.

One has to wonder what the writers were thinking letting a monkey be a part of the show. It has been done, and redone, many times in nearly every sitcom in history. And each time the situation is painfully ridiculous. And in this episode it is no different. Things get so bad that at one point the monkey is playing Mike in chess, YUCK. The rest of the episode may have been better, not sure since the monkey story was so silly one looses interest in the show. This episode is what is known to most people as a clunker. Not one of the better shows.
