Seemingly unable to hold down a job for long, always broke, and perpetually out of luck, best friends, Polidoros and Trifonas, finally manage to find work as bricklayers in one of the upcoming residential projects of the wealthy developer, Takis. But there, the two inexperienced workers will inadvertently overhear the boss' plans to give away in marriage his only sister, Mary, who is secretly in love with the contractor's young but poor employee, Nikos. Of course, Polidoros and Trifonas won't take this situation lying down; however, how can the clumsy duo avert this loveless union?
