The boys are excited to go trick-or-treating, dressed as the Avengers, but Stan is unable to come because Randy has bought a Blockbuster Video franchise location in South Park and needs everybody ready to help with the Halloween rental rush.

When iPad version of Stan is captured by the burglars and questioned about his friends he admits their names to be Bruce, Tony, and Kurt. Bruce Banner (Cartman) is the Hulk, Tony Stark (Kenny) is Iron Man.

The South Park guys have been very critical of Seth MacFarlane and Family Guy over the years. In one scene, in the Blockbuster store, the movie Ted, also a Seth MacFarlane product, can be seen playing on a TV in the background.

Mr. Garrison is dressed up as the main character of Drive (2011).

What makes SP so special are the references to movies and real life news.

This episode is mainly a parody of "Stanley Kubrick"s "Shining". and Randy Marsh tries to impersonate "Jack Nicholson" character.

I think that people who have watched "Shining" would love this episode, as me, That why I gave 10 (excellent).

The other references are more actual as how our society is change with the iPad and online streaming of video which is closing video store; and Jimmy costume is very funny.

This episode was a parody of film 'shining.' Randy buys blockbuster, but no customer comes to rent the DVD's. Randy thinks renting DVD's is more convenient than streaming. Stan, Sharon and Shelly know that this blockbuster thing is not going to work, but Randy is very adamant.

This episode was centered around the Halloween eve. This episode was not hilarious, but it is a kind of a tribute to the great film 'Shining.' Particularly the bartender scene was awesome. I also found this particular scene hilarious when Randy asks Shelly what she is doing and Shelly tells that she is doing nothing and prompts him to go kill the family.

But, the best thing for me of this episode was Gangnam style. Lately, song Gangnam style became very popular, and south park has used it well in this episode, when more than half the people wear Gangnam style costumes at Halloween party.

It was not a very hilarious episode, but for giving tribute to shining and for the Gangnam style, I'll give it an 9/10.

What happens when Randy buys the old Blockbuster video store and has his family working for it? Everything! first off, Nobody comes at all except for some ghost that only he see's while going completely nuts!

And our boys dressing up as the Avengers on Halloween with Stan using Kyle's iPad, and it's pretty funny that people don't see Cartman as The Hulk but ether Honey Boo Boo. or Harvey Fierstein making him really pi**ed off.

And also there are some robbers at the Kum & Go convenience store, who thinks it's a good ideal to steal video rental cash from the machine!

Then you have Stan on his iPad, dressed as the Gangnam style guy trying to find the robbers whereabouts in the Monster Mash costume party.

Also I liked the spoof of The Shining with Randy trying to kill Stan, "Stanny boy I'm Coming!" and Kenny's Iron Man costume actually hearing his voice talk under his mask was also hilarious.

It's one of my top favorite South Park Halloween Episodes!
