Two executives die in a car fire in Los Angeles; Granger introduces a visitor as Martin, an Interpol agent, who seeks help, pointing out that the MO in the new crime matches that in another case, in which the Callen team six months ago took down most of a French-Moroccan gang. G and Sam go to a prison to interview the only survivor in the old case, the driver, but he's somebody else; G says that he missed something, so Granger and the team review; they realize that their target is a chameleon, and G says that he's the best he's ever seen. The team see a video clip apparently showing Martin's death in a car fire by the same MO. Granger takes control of the investigation; Eric learns that Martin is not Martin; G and Sam find the real Martin but not the fake Martin; however, the fake guy calls G and says that he will soon kill G, and he tells why. Granger eats some of his words; Hetty asks Granger why he's there, and he answers, looking at Kensi, that he's there to catch a killer.
