Daniel is perturbed by inconsistencies in his bank statement and a visit by the police to say he is to be charged with speeding. Then a man arrives at the surgery claiming to be him. Heston recognizes him as Adam Flyn, a disturbed and disgruntled ex-patient of Daniel's, who will do anything to hurt him, including abducting him. Karen visits Rob in hospital but claims to feel nothing for him, causing Valerie to surmise that she is faking her amnesia, a deduction to which Jimmi over-reacts.
