This Lumiere Brothers actuality film is one that many people will probably enjoy looking at today. A scuba diver comes up out of the water and that's pretty much the only thing that happens. What makes this film so entertaining is that you get to see how scuba worked back in 1896. I say this because there are some terrific images dealing with men on the boat who are pumping oxygen to the diver. Getting to see this was quite fun to watch and I'd also argue that getting to see the actual scuba outfit was great as well. I've seen several movies where these types of outfits were recreated but getting the see the real thing was nice.
