Big Babies Online
Big Babies is an excellent children's programme using CGI, green screen and live film technology, a clever script takes us on the adventures if the big babies (mainly Rocco and Brooke) the babies with adult heads. From The terrors of the dinosaur train to a trip to the the market with their daredevil soft toy Budge watching their every move. A great series which kept my children (and me!) entertained.

John Riche had the idea to replace babies heads with adults and wanted to make it a video clip. He could not find any bands interested and instead decided to try it as a sketch on "The Wrong Door". It's success grew into the show as we know it now.
The song the babies sing is "Well here we are, and off we go, down the hill and up the road, where we're going we just don't know, where are we off to today? We're turning left. Turning right. I'm feeling sick, I feel alright. Where we off to today?" Some episodes featured alternate versions, but this is the case for most episodes.
The show received negative reviews before its airtime, however once the show was aired it was receiving positive reviews. Due to the earlier criticism the BBC was not sure if they should renew a second series? A petition went out asking for 2000 signatures and only received 44 votes. It was decided not enough marketing had gone in to signify if a second season would be fisable. The show later gained more popular success with re-runs and international success but unfortunately the cast and crew had moved on and it became a situation of success coming too late to orginize a new series. Australia however attempted to create a similar series with a similar title for the ABC network but was a complete failure.
Constant reoccurring themes throughout the show are; The babies watching something on TV that relates to what adventure or putting their about to take; The general ordering Budge to follow the babies for whatever given mission; The mother switching the TV off as soon as the Eeebie Geebie show is about to begin, disappointing the Eeebie Geebie toys; Meeting up with the Gonch.
