Anyone who's seen any of Italian cult director Alfonso Brescia's science fiction epics will know them for what they are: laughable, ineptly-made productions with cardboard sets and lamentable acting. Well, that kind of format is transferred to the Italian crime genre for THE MAFIA TRIANGLE, a new scenario involving gangsters getting revenge on one another by blasting them down in assassinations. Despite the gravity of the plot, this is an unintentionally funny kind of film, let down constantly by inappropriate cheesy music and overacting from the leads. The plot is both simplistic and repetitive, and none of it is remotely believable. It's very nearly a travesty, but not as entertaining as Brescia's sci-fi movies because it's not quite as funny.

I am usually satisfied with the Italian crime flicks I watch, but this one, I don't know why, is such a mess, totally disastrous to stand for the viewer. Acting, directing and the screenplay are absolutely awful. And the basic topic is rather interesting, a revenge tale which could have the audience may expect something far better than this crap. It is violent, bloody, very Italian in its form, but so bad, with sometimes a touch of comedy. The lead actor is so disappointing, terrible. Forget this film at all costs. I know none of the actors and I would have preferred Franco Nero, Thomas Milian or Fabio Testi; and I don't speak of Henry Silva.
