Hikari Tomonaga (Suzu Hirose) enrolls at Fukui Chuo High School, and joins its cheer dance club for the sole reason of cheering on a boy she has known from their junior high days. However, the club's coach, female teacher Kaoru Saotome (Yuki Amami), is a harsh and no-nonsense task master who suddenly declares: "Our aim is to become U.S. champions! No fringes or boyfriends allowed!" As older students quickly quit the club, the presence of Hikari's teammate Ayano (Ayami Nakajo) encourages her to decide to stick with cheer dance for the time being. Will the club achieve their goal of becoming U.S. champions? These ordinary schoolgirls set off on a long journey toward making their dream a reality.

Good: Most of the chicks were hot (slim and fit) and had nice feminine hair Bad: There was a whole unnecessary plot about flying to the US where their senses could be assaulted with fat broads twerking, pot holes, random shootings and trash. Why was that needed? Who goes from somewhere nice to a dump as a dream?

First of all, I don't understand why every single Japanese in this film wants to come to America. Trump and the trigger happy have made it hard to believe. Second, Miss Hell was not hellish at all. What? She argued twice in this film and spent the rest of it being disappointed or concerned. So ummm.. not a good film.

I had a chance to watch it at a festival, well it's just another fun high school movie, that's all. The climax dance in the US is not wow, some US scenes are lame, some of the main casts including the lovable Suzu aren't that good at dancing. If they want to make a movie inspired by the true story of Fukui Commercial High School's cheer dancing team, they should do more than this. I'd put Swing Girls or even Linda Linda Linda higher than this movie

I would like to say at first is why do people give rating so low as 7.1 for this amazing movie?

This movie is very inspirational, very good story line which base on True Story. And very good acting especially actress is really match with character, her smile is so so sweet and cheering, her acting is very natural and she's also very funny.

Only thing need to say is movie title and poster. At first, I think what is that movie? I just need to watch first 5 minutes and it's drag me down for 2 hours.

I'm putting top in my inspirational movie list.

A light movie that you won't remember after watching. The whole story is just okay, though the one thing that had this movie going for it is the cast. If you are familiar with Japanese movies, then you'll know most of the cast and you'll know that there will be some solid performances. Also, the leading lady was amazing and she was the sole star of the whole movie.
