The title comes from the nursery rhyme "Little Boy Blue".
Like Парень познает мир: Who's Afraid of Cory Wolf? (1994), this episode is a parody of The Wolf Man (1941). Both Dinosaurs (1991) and Парень познает мир (1993) were co-created by Michael Jacobs.
Although Ethyl Phillips is included in the cast list, the puppet normally used for the character only appears as the fortune teller. She is voiced by Florence Stanley as usual, but speaks with a Slavic accent.
