The Real Ghost Busters Baby Spookums (1986–1991) Online

During a rare eclipse of the moon, a rip between dimensions opens; allowing a small friendly ghost to wander off into New York and Slimer decides to look after it. When the ghost's parents come looking for their baby, the Ghostbusters mistakenly capture them. They soon realise their error - but not before the baby disappears again - can they reunite the spooky family before the eclipse is over?

This is the first episode to feature different voice talents for any of the major characters since the show's inception.

This marked the first episode in which Dave Coulier voiced Peter Venkman. He replaced Lorenzo Music, who had voiced the character since the show's beginning.

This is the first episode in which Kath Soucie provided the the voice for Janine Melnitz. Janine had been voiced by Laura Summer since the show's beginning.

In addition to changes in voice talent, several of the major characters undergo serious changes in appearance, beginning with this episode. Janine is given softer facial characteristics and Ray is significantly slimmer than in previous episodes. Although it does not appear in a pronounced way in this episode, Slimer now has a tail throughout the rest of the series.
