The film begins with Don Knight torturing a man with his lit cigar. Apparently, the victim had an artifact in his possession---or HAD one. Once he tells Knight where it is, he is murdered.

When Five-O investigates, they are able to piece together a pattern. Three dealers in antiquities have been murdered in the last several months. And, all three were shot with a Wembly revolver and had been tortured. Over time, they are able to determine that the three all had in their possession, at one time, figures belonging to a great Indian treasure called 'The Cashmiri Ring of Life".

About midway through the episode, Knight has assembled all five pieces of The Ring and he calls a man with the Indian Consulate. Apparently, the government has offered a $1,000,000 reward for its return. But not so fast--lots of twists and double-crosses await in this very solid and interesting show. Good acting, a nice plot and not serious plot holes make this one to see.

By the way, Knight was on "Hawaii Five-O" several times. One of these has a lot of similarities to this one--one about stolen opals. Both are well worth seeing.
