Its mere impression suffices to perturb Bonnie's effort to kill Matt just a moment to break the ownership bond preventing the brothers to reenter their home and rescue Caroline. Damon finds Elena cruelly removed from the crypt.

Never Let Me Go by Florence and The Machine is the song playing when Damon and Elena share their first real kiss together in Season 3 episode 19 "Heart of Darkness".
In this episode Michael Malarkey as Enzo plays guitar, a skill which is referenced further later in the season and in the next season. He has his own band, and it is possible that he was playing one of his own songs in that scene.
Second episode not to feature Nina Dobrev as Elena Gilbert
In this episode Bonnie stops Matt's heart so they can break the seal on the Salvatore house. Nina Dobrev who played the lead in the show (Elena Gilbert) would later go on to star in the movie Flatliners with a similar story.
