Resembling a Georges Feydeau farce, though its XXX content certainly disguises that fact, TRAMP is a porn classic from Chuck Vincent's most productive period that has been unjustly forgotten, Boasting a tour de force performance in the title role by Samantha Fox (which won a couple of industry awards way back then) it is a perfect example of the craftsmanship and style that left the Adult Industry with the advent of video production just a couple years later.

Story involves a divorce case, with Fox battling wealthy hubby R. Bolla. Comedy arises from the juxtaposition of her haughty voice-over detailing her life history to her lawyer, while we watch on screen extreme contradictions of the reality vs. her self-serving fabrications.

Perhaps the best adult actress of her era (next to Veronica Hart, that is), Fox is utterly convincing as a pig-tailed teen lustily seducing her reluctant step-father. Soon she's left the sticks to head for the Big Apple, where she attends a live sex show starring Veri Knotty as a dominatrix, tormenting busty submissive Carman (apparently in her only screen appearance, but an impressive figure) and humping stand-up comic Ron Jeremy.

In the audience she meets brassy Gloria Leonard who takes her under her wing and starts directing her in porn films, which Vincent uses to give a behind-the-scenes look at how it's done, '70s style. On a double-date the femmes meet their respective sugar daddy husbands to be.

Comedy explicitly moves into bedroom farce territory on Fox's honeymoon, in which she dallies with the studly bellboy rather than Bolla. Later there are hijinks at their 22-room mansion, including sex with the servants plus a wild party, culminating in a fateful night when she's caught by Bolla en flagrante delicto humping a handsome guest. A clever and surprising ending ties it all together.

Fast pacing and amusing dialog plus an appropriate amount of sex scenes speed TRAMP along effectively in 78 minutes, a lost art in porn. Highly recommended, especially for admirers of Sam Fox.
