Jinzô ningen Kikaidâ Online
The first installment of a 2 series saga focuses on Kikaider's quest to stop The Dark Organization run by Professor Gil, and find Professor Kyomji, who lost his memory in a big explosion in the middle of episode 1. Later in the series, Hakaider was created to destroy Kikaider. Which brought on more difficult tasks.

According to creator Shôtarô Ishinomori, "Kikaider" is a cross between the Japanese word "kikai" (Japanese for "machine") and the English word "rider" (as in Ishinomori's other famous superhero, Masked Rider/Kamen Raidâ (1971)). However, these two "rider" superheroes are different by theme; Masked Rider is a cyborg, and Kikaider is an android.
