The title is based on the 1928 song "Embraceable You" by George Gershwin and lyrics by Ira Gershwin for an unpublished operetta but was used in the Broadway musical Girl Crazy.

Michael tries out for a producer's job in Syracuse and leaves the station receptionist in charge of Dick's show.

It turns out she is a better producer than Michael and Dick considers replacing him. Dick says Michael is like a puppy that you don't like very much. There is a funny scene where Michael begs for his job. An even funnier subplot has George asking Joanna to redecorate his room. She makes it so nice George is afraid to mess it up.
