The mysterious blue light returns but John is no longer dreaming. Now in the real world, John must seek help from William, a Taoist who has a lot of information on the supernatural entity. With John's martial arts and William's Taoism, the two will use their skills to do battle with the blue ball of light.

When John speaks to Ollie over the phone during the ending credits he mentions he moved out of his old home and into an apartment a few blocks away. This is an in-joke because in reality, Vincent Chan had just moved from his house in Sai Kung Town to an apartment within the same area.
