I was approximately 10 feet from the stage in Phoenix 5 weeks before this concert was filmed. Seeing it 16 months later brought back all the same emotions that ran through me that night. Wow! I had goose bumps from the opening number. My wife and I stood riveted in front of the television, overwhelmed by reliving the experience of a lifetime. This DVD captures how Bruce not only delivers a powerhouse performance mined from his enormous repetoire but wills the audience to give back and feeding off that energy to the brink of exhaustion. The force of "The Rising" is worth the price of the DVD alone and you get 2 1/2 hours beyond that! The Boss has no peers.

Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band Live; it just doesn't get much better than this. Following his 2002 album The Rising, Springsteen went on a world tour and proved (once again) that he's the ultimate live performer, as if further proof was needed.

This Barcelona DVD has some great tracks, some usuals (Born to Run, Thunder Road etc.) and some damn rare (Born in the USA rock version, Night, Incident on 57th Street) plus some Rising tracks to promote the then new album. Every song here is great and expertly performed, but then what else do you expect from The Boss.

This DVD is a must for fans all over, and those who've not experienced the magic of Bruce should pick this up and then they'll too become true believers.

Bruce and the E Street band play live in a concert in Barcelona. A variety of classic bruce springsteen is played, plus some great songs from his new CD, "The Rising". Bruce sweats like a dog, sings and plays his heart out, along with Steve, Clarence and the rest of the band. Great concert, Bruce fans will not be disappointed.

I cannot disagree with the comments also posted. I'll add that this concert was broadcast live and what you see is the unedited show. No edits of songs from another night, no overdubs, a complete show. Its' exciting, maybe you should wait till its a hot night to watch this again to try and simulate the steamy Spannish atmos. Just watch and listen to "No Surrender" and be exhausted by the energy. If you enjoyed this try: Manic Street Preachers: Louder than War So when can we have some archive Springsteen performances? Lets have something from 77,78 or 80/81, do we have to wait until he stops touring (unfortunately that has to happen sometime).
