June 1881 - Sheriff Hollister and Harris Claibourne ride into the small town of Osage to find it deserted. The town folk have left in panic when they heard that a group of rebel confederates, turned outlaws, are coming to plunder their town. While outnumbered, Hollister and Calibourne take on the raiders to restore peace in Osage.

I rated the television series, "Tombstone Territory", 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. But this particular episode is politically correct anti-Southern propaganda. It was typical of 1950's and 1960's Western TV shows to "take sides" on the Civil War. For example, the show, "Rawhide" empathized with the Southerners; most of the drovers on that series were ex-Confederates. The TV show, "The Rifleman", starring Chuck Connors, took the side of the North. In this episode of "Tombstone Territory", the Southerners (still wearing their uniforms some 15 years after The War) are portrayed as the bad guys. How unfortunate that even in the 1950's, TV producers/writers would smear history to promote their political point of view.
