After Eric's attack on Dr Lewis Marcella visits the residential home and finds scars on Joel's chest identical to those on the dead boys and a possible link to the perpetrator. With Edward missing she has Jane's daughter take her to a deserted house where she makes a disturbing find - which finally leads her to the serial killer. After an arrest is made Marcella's final hypnosis session reveals the source of her black-outs.
