All but one of the original Mugsey Grant Production Group worked together towards this project. Alex Coutts however declined when asked to participate. This is down to an argument in 2013 between Alex Coutts and Scott Rivers.
Nick Black portrayed by Scott Rivers was originally going to be played in the series by a older male. Scott based him off a man he meet in his childhood and couldn't find an actor who could portray Nick Black they way he wanted. So decided he would have to play the role as the protagonist. Along with directed and editing and write the script.
