Sofia quits her job when she is passed over for a promotion. They worry about the rent and Gabi tries to get her a job as a paid intern for Josh.

When Josh hires someone more qualified, Gabi pretends to Sofia that she got the job because Sofi is heartbroken as her boyfriend has broken up with her.

Meanwhile Elliot's mother comes round to see him and she accidentally assumes Elliot has become engaged to Josh who she approves off.

This episode goes for farce and mistaken assumptions but it is really a flaky episode. Thankfully it does have a few laughs. How was Gabi really going to convince Sofia that Josh has hired her when he has not?
