While Kirbopher's looking for trouble one late night on TOME, he spots the mysterious Gamecrazed mixed in the crowd of one of his matches. After following him into the woods of Lavendera, Nylocke appears to join Kirb in a quest to uncover more about their enigmatic friend...but before long, they stumble upon a strange mansion seemingly blocked from entry to normal players. Kirb and Nylocke follow Gamecrazed inside, but they end up getting more than what they bargained for, as they're not be the only unwelcome visitors to the mansion.

Asterob's appearance and mannerisms are based directly on his voice actor, Lawrence Simpson
Kirb's comment about him and Sniperwheel "being from the same place" was a nod to that Chris Niosi was living in New York at the time, and Jon Jafari having a thick New York accent (Jon eventually moving to NY himself in 2013).
The hacker Splat is the older sister of Doubling, and is played by Alison Fanelli, the older sister of Chris Niosi
Sniperwheel's "roulette eyes" consist of an X, a swirl, a lucky 7, a star, two hearts, the numbers 6 and 9, and "FIRE".
