A rural village is divided when an extraordinary couple move into a mansion.
Änglagård (1992) Online
A small village in Västergötland, Sweden. Everything is turned upside-down when the local loner dies and his mansion, called House of Angels, is inherited by his unknown grand-daughter Fanny. She comes riding on a big black motorcycle with her best friend Zac, wearing black leather and spikes. The farmer Axel Flogfält had expected that he would be able to buy the mansion for a good price, but now it seems that Fanny and Zac will stay there. The village is divided into two camps, one for and one against them.

Rikard Wolff suffered a motorcycle accident at the end shooting, going down a road with Helena Bergström on the backseat. Wolff scraped his knee badly but neither he nor Bergström was seriously injured.
The main character's name, Fanny Zander, is a reference to Ingmar Bergman's movie, Fanny och Alexander (1982).
For the role of Gottfried, director Colin Nutley was afraid to ask actor Ernst Günther to shave off his trademark beard. Finally, Nutley took the chance and Günther agreed.
The farmer couple Axel and Ruth (Sven Wollter and Viveca Sedahl) were a REAL couple from 1971 to 2001 when Viveca died in cancer.
