This episode begins on the trail as we have two young men, Clete and Hutch, who have a herd of horses that they are delivering to the US Cavalry. Also on the trail are two helpers. One day a man called Griz, one of the helpers, decide that he and the other were going to take the horses for themselves and cut Clete and Hutch out of the deal. Well, things do not go well for Griz as the two younger men beat both men up and send them on their way.

Griz and his companion are so upset at being set away that they team up with a notorious villain named Hody. Hody is a man that pure evil without given any thought to life. He comes up with a plan where they will kill the Cavalry officers and steal the money that was going to be paid for the horses. He also will steal the horses and then resell them at another location. And when the cavalry men arrive at a stagecoach rest-stop, Hody leads the charge of killing the entire group.

Meanwhile Luke, Simon and Davey are on the vacant stagecoach as they pull into the rest-stop. Hody will take Luke and Simon with him as they lead the horses back to the cabin while Griz and the other will stay with Davey and used him as a hostage making sure that Luke and Simon give them no trouble.

Overall the story was engaging and the action on the screen kept the interest of the viewer. Richard Devon, who always plays villains to perfection, was excellent as the ruthless Hody. The two young horse herders that was played by James Beck and Don Burnett, actually made the show much better by their friendly banter. Their acting ability was not perfect and at times they appeared to be reading from the script rather than acting- they did bring a pleasant nature to the show. Was not really sure why the stagecoach, without any passengers, needed both Luke and Simon but I guess we could not have had a show without the flaw. An enjoyable western show that was well performed by the cast.
