There's been a crack down on the Ridge - Beady Burke can't move without the Gardaí breathing down his neck and now McKay's attentions have turned to eliminating Laser Byrne. He's landed with the perfect opportunity to nab the thug when unofficial informant Davey Webb tips McKay off about a van full of fake cigarettes and booze belonging to Laser that he'll be driving. McKay insists Davey refuse, someone else needs to be driving if the guards are going to raid it. Laser doesn't take Davey's refusal well and forces him to be the driver. A panicked Davey rings McKay - there's no way he can go ahead with Laser's plan, if the guards catch him he'll be back behind bars in no time. McKay must change the plan and quick!
