Chandler vs President. Chandler and his people got away and are back in the ship, with the president with them. But the president doesn't seem to want to cooperate with them. Cue a showdown between Chandler and the President where one will try to convince the other of the need to side with them instead of with the others.

Clear enough?

"Safe Zone" is probably one of the most interesting episodes of the show so far. There is little to close no action, and it centers on Chandler and Michener's confrontation. We have a lot of talk about lost opportunities, responsibilities and the fear of failing. And the episode does a great job of offering two quite realistic characters. Some of the dialogue and plot developments are too obvious (Michener and his family, for example), but the dialogue is robust. It helps having Dane and Moses, which are in some ways similar physically, here playing very different characters. Their acting anchors the episode, making it rise above the rest.
